Hello all,
Well I have five followers now don't I feel all special = D. All right well I don't have anything other to say so let's get to work. (oh wait I do have one thing to say .... Alex I'm going to beat you up). Now off to work.
Well as we know Jess's mom is planning a trip to go see her father but she doesn't want to go because she would be away from her secret boyfriend Fred. Now a day before they're supposed to leave (which is also the day that Jess found out about the trip) Fred invites her to go to Riverdene (remember the concert that's kinda like Woodstock but cleaner with less drugs) well Jess hatches a plan to get her mom (or mum as she says) to delay the trip a little so she can go to Riverdene with "a group of friends". Now she said it was Flora's idea to go but her mom isn't quite believeing her so she rings Flora's mom but luckily she wasn't able to get on the phone at that time so she said she would call back in five minutes. That gave Jess barely enough time to go up to her room and text Flora about her plan, and five minutes later when Jess's mom calls again she gets her a** saved by Flora's mom and her mom believes her finally. So the next morning (day they're supposed to be leaving) Fred's mom calls up Jess's mom to ask if they wanted them to take one or two tents to Riverdene and of course Jess's mom is furious it was Fred who she would just be going with instead of a group and Flora.
Well finally they leave and Jess is going to keep in touch with Fred via mail and text. The first place they visit on their way to visit Jess's dad is to see a sculpture of a (I kid you not) naked man. Now her mom calls it a "Cerne Abbas Giant", now tell me this how would you feel if your mom took you to see a big sculpture of a naked man?(Alex would probably like it haha) Jess felt complete embarrassment. After that they went to a little cafe where her mom was throwing herself at this waiter (is it just me or is that screaming man problems?) and including Jess in the embarrassing conversation. That is just making Jess sulk even further into her depressing attitude about the whole trip.
Ok I think i'll stop there for a second but I'd just like to say something. Jess hasn't even been with this guy for a complete month and she's already "heads over heels" in love with him. I think Jess's mom does have reason to be concerned.

Slow down, wait a minute!
Hello all,
Well I'm going to be an overachiever and do my post one day early, or I don't know I might not finish until tomorrow so we'll see. Anyways if you were wondering about my title it's because that's exactly what I'm going to do this blog, I've gotten quite far in my book and I'm about 3/4 of the way done with it so I'm going to take it slow and move back a little for the time being just to make sure that we all have a pleasurable blogging experience... ok well now that that's all done
First I promised I would answer any questions and I will keep my word. In my years of high school I have experienced drama but I don't think she's gone through that much drama in this she is just over dramatic. Also I honestly wouldn't consider this a very chickish book (if that is a word). There is a lot more comedy in it Jess is very funny but she just doesn't realize it.
Well the first thing I want to talk about is the picture on the front of the book. At first I took it as a picture of Mona Lisa holding an urn that says grandpa, a bottle of sunscreen, a bird that's sitting on her shoulder, cell phone, a pair of tickets, and what looks like a towel. Oh and in the background of the picture there is a beach. Now I can't quite explain everything on there I can only explain the urn which is kinda obvious, I can also explain the tickets the day before they were scheduled to leave for the trip Fred offered to take her to Riverdene ( basically a big rock concert that goes on for a couple of days (like woodstock but more cleanly, and less drugs))
Hmm what do I want to talk about next?.... Oh yea Jess is actually worried about Flora and Fred while she's away. She thinks that Flora is a better, richer, prettier, skinnier version of her. And since Flora's mom broke her leg they're not going on vacation so Flora is going to be at home all summer. Even though she talks of Fred's greatness day and night she still is worried about him cheating on her. (no not all girls do that, well atleast not me)
Well I think that's going to be about it this post, next blog I promise we'll move forward.

Introduction
Hello all,
Well this is my first blog/first post, so hopefully it will be a good blog and you will enjoy it = D. Ok well let's get to work. I'm reading a book called Girl, Nearly 16 Absolute Torture. It's written by a lovely lady by the name of Sue Limb. The main character is a girl named Jess. She lives with her mother and her grandmother. From what I've learned so far her father is still alive and her mother and father are separated (I don't know if they were married or not) and her grandfather is dead, her grandmother has actually been carrying around his ashes in a urn. Also so far I have met Jess's best friend Flora, and her (secret) boyfriend, Fred. Her mother is planning a trip over summer to go visit her father along with visiting some "historical" places (her mother is really into history). So the reason why Fred is a secret is because her mom is really tough with men and Jess is scared of telling her mom for the fact that she would not accept him. ( I haven't heard what exactly happened to her mom but it must of been something very traumatic). Jess doesn't want to go on this trip her mom is planning she just wants to spend the summer with Fred. Jess has these crazy little scenarios in her head about Fred going off with some girl that she thinks is prettier and skinnier. So far it has seemed like a pretty good book, I'm excited to continue on and see what happens in this trip, if they even go on the trip, etc. Thank you for reading, I hope I've been clear enough for you to understand this. If you have any questions ask and I can hopefully answer them for you.
Well now I'm off to go practice clic two my try out is tomorrow and I'm so nervous about it that my hands literally just started sweating just from thinking about it (gross). Wish me luck. = )
